SnapDragon is made up of a team of tenacious, experienced, multi-lingual professionals who know what it takes to defend a brand online. We use intellectual property rights to defend your brand on e-commerce platforms across the world.
To help you get to know us a little better, we’re going to feature members of our expert team via our blog. We’re starting with Michelle Novenson, who is our Head of Client Services.
Michelle came to Edinburgh 5 years ago from Raleigh NC but grew up in Delaware, a state well known for no sales tax, and being on the way to everywhere along the east coast.
Having previously worked as a paralegal and on the team of two start-up businesses, Michelle brings with her a wealth of knowledge about the legal process and team strategy as well as fantastic analytical skills. She also adds her experience of working in the American market to our multi-national team.
Michelle said, “I feel great when I can use my gifts on a team to achieve goals and make a positive difference for clients. I came to SnapDragon because I was excited to join a growing and exciting business with an inspiring vision and care for all clients.”
“I was particularly drawn to the idea of helping small and medium sized businesses have a creative and effective solution at dealing with online infringement. I have always been interested in ways to combat child slavery and labour so being able to help stop the production of counterfeits (often by this vulnerable group), in a tangible way, provided an additional motivation to be a part of what SnapDragon is doing.”
“I am driven by a strong ethic and keen to get to know our current and future clients. I look forward to seeing how we can continue to work together and make a difference fighting fakes online.”
When Michelle is not fighting fakes online her time is taken up as a mum of three boys – hiking and getting outdoors with her family. Glencoe, Scotland and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware are two favourite spots you might find her.
