SnapDragon is excited to have strengthened its management team with two senior hires, Alexis Ovenstone as Head of Marketing and Kieron Smith as Product Manager.
The newest additions to our team demonstrate our commitment to the brand protection industry and determination to develop and promote our Swoop software, the world’s first publicly available brand monitoring tool aimed at helping SMEs tackle counterfeits.
Our new Dragons bring with them a wealth of experience, Alexis has more than 20 years’ experience in FMCG marketing with leading UK brands including Whyte & Mackay, Clover and Cathedral City. She joins SnapDragon from leading haggis provider Macsween.
She said: “I’m a strong believer that SnapDragon can make a real difference to the global counterfeit market, especially for SMEs who often lack funds and resources to be able to fight back.”
Product Manager Kieron Smith has 20 years’ experience in software development and product management. He has worked with financial software services firm SNX Systems and Scottish vehicle logistics software provider Vehnet.
Kieron, who will lead our digital team as it continues to develop Swoop, said: “SnapDragon is leading the way when it comes to affordable online brand protection and I believe Swoop will be an incredibly valuable asset to brands looking to protect themselves from copycats.
“I am looking forward to working closely with SnapDragon’s team of linguists and IP experts to further enhance Swoop and help ensure that we achieve our mission of becoming a household name in the world of brand protection.”
SnapDragon founder Rachel Jones said: “I’m thrilled to have both Alexis and Kieron on board, bringing their exceptional skills and experience to the team. I firmly believe that both will be a great asset as we strive to reach our goal of making SnapDragon the go-to online brand protection solution.”
We hope you will join us in welcoming them both and we look forward to the exciting times ahead!
