SnapDragon is delighted to be shortlisted for the Alliance for Intellectual Property’s IP Champion Award 2018! The award aims to recognise an excellent initiative or service which helps or promotes intellectual property.
As well as our ongoing client work, we’ve also now launched our new Swoop software, an automated brand monitoring platform enabling companies to take the power into their own hands.
The sun will hopefully still be shining as the presentation of the IP Champion Award takes place at the Alliance’s Summer Reception in Parliament tomorrow, Wednesday 4 July, which coincides with the third annual British IP Day.
What is British IP Day?
British IP Day is a celebration of the huge cultural and economic contribution that Intellectual Property makes across the UK. The IP Champion Award aims to recognise an individual, business or organisation who works to promote and protect IP by rewarding their efforts.
How is the winner chosen?
The winning entry, chosen by an elite judging panel of experts from industry and politics, is based on key criteria which includes the scale of the project or service, the long-term impact and the innovation in its approach.
Alliance members can nominate individuals, teams or a project – in the field of IP enforcement, education, policy or practice.
Regardless of the outcome on Wednesday, it is an honour to be recognised for our work in the IP field by being shortlisted and invited to attend the Alliance’s Summer Reception.
